Your privacy is our highest priority. Nova Key is built on a privacy-first philosophy: Your data stays on your Mac.

1. Data Processing and Storage (Zero Cloud)

Nova Key is designed as a local-first application. We do not use external cloud services for processing your sensitive data.

• On-Device Intelligence: All AI-powered features, including natural language processing (NLP), command parsing, and text summarization, are executed locally using Apple's on-device Foundation Models. No data used for these functions is sent to our servers or any third-party cloud service.

• Local Storage: Your saved snippets, notes, and clipboard history are stored only on your Mac within your local Application Support folder.

2. Data Collected or Accessed

Nova Key interacts with specific system data to fulfill your commands, but we do not collect, export, or analyze this data for any purpose.

Calendars & Reminders: To create new events or reminders when you explicitly request them (e.g., "Remind me to...").Creation Only. We do not read your existing entries.

Text Input & Clipboard: To match commands, create notes, and summarize text.Local, Temporary Access. We process this data on-device and discard it.

Installed Applications: To match and launch applications instantly.Local Access Only.

3. Data Sharing and Advertising

Nova Key does not share, sell, or transmit any user data, command history, or personal information with any third parties, advertisers, or developers.
